Project Background
Arnold Ventures is a mid size philanthropy organization. AV had Foundation Connect and wanted to scale the platform. The organization was growing and other departments within the entity wanted to bring their processes in the platform.
What They Needed
Their staff was forced to adapt to the features vs. having features built based on defined processes.
They were unable to understand the customized automation that is included in the Foundation Connect product since it’s a managed package.
They had difficulty managing the administrative interface to modify the configuration of Foundation Connect.
They were not leveraging all of the functionality of the product.
What We Did For Them
Implemented Sales Cloud platform as the core infrastructure
Created automation leveraging process builder, flows, and Apex code.
Leveraged validation rules to ensure data is being captured in the platform.
Configured Sales Path on the grant object to create an optimized experience for grant managers. This allows up to 5 fields to be displayed in the top of the page with instructions to guide data entry. Each stage in the pipeline can be customized appropriately.
Created custom objects for additional functionality (Payments, Grantee Reports, Project/Grant Coding, Geographic Area, Application, etc.)
